Chase Challenge
JPMorgan Chase
Financial topics can often feel so complex and overwhelming, a person may not know where to start—or know how it can apply to their own individual journey. There is an abundance of financial management information and content out there, scattered disparately throughout one's experience, but where can they start?
Chase Challenge is a financial health hub that helps break down saving, spending, borrowing, and planning into interactive, foundational activities that make these concepts digestible and applicable to an individual's unique personal context. By guiding users, both customers and prospective ones, through these small wins, Chase helps them recognize that healthy money habits are not a foregone conclusion, but something that can be achieved one step at a time.
The mission of Chase Challenge is to integrate with all lines of business at the bank—checking and savings, card, home, auto—to help connect all facets of a user's financial life. Chase Challenge provides a "10% off the top" birds-eye view of saving, spending, borrowing and planning, presented in ways that are relevant to the day-to-day ways we interact with our money.
As the UX Design Lead on this project, I've led the experience of the project from strategy to going live. In initial stages of the project, I embedded with our agency partners to create the first version of the experience and art directed the detailed design work. Internally, with our content team, product partners, and executive stakeholders, I have done everything from strategy brainstorming, user journey creation, sketching, wireframing, to accessibility clearance with our ADA team and final production design with our dev team.
